The Wild are opening a three-game road trip through Canada Monday against Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, and are 10-4-2 away from St. Paul this season.

 

Vancouver just went 3-1-1 on a five-game road trip and is back home for a four-game residency versus the Wild, Red Wings, Flames and Oilers. The Canucks avoided a third straight loss and won for the 10th time in 13 tries with Saturday's 5-3 triumph at Toronto.

Cory Emmerton scored twice and added an assist, while Drew Miller had two goals and Niklas Kronwall, Henrik Zetterberg, Pavel Datsyuk and Brad Stuart each lit the lamp for Detroit, which extended its home winning steak to 10 games. It is the Red Wings' first 10-game home win streak since the 2006-2007 season.

 

Howard made 27 saves in a winning effort. The Red Wings will also visit Vancouver, Calgary and Nashville on the trek and are 7-8-0 away from the Joe this season. They are five points off of the Central Division lead.
